AOPA PARTNERSHIP
Introducing AOPA
AOPA (Aircraft Owners & Pilots Association) is the association of general aviation aircraft pilots.
Members are owners or operators of a plane, a helicopter or an airship. AOPA’s volunteers have been fighting for many years to defend pilots’ freedom to fly regardless of the machine type and ownership. Whether for private or professional travel, or just for the pleasure of an air excursion, AOPA defends the ability to continue to fly in all airspace without being considered intruders on board machines whose maintenance does not need to be done according to airline standards.
AOPA has nearly 1,000 members in France and is present in 66 countries abroad. Today with 470,000 members, including 23,000 in Europe, it is the world’s largest defence association for general aviation users.
